For the auditions:
Topic would be given two days before the audition.
Team of two members are allowed for the event.
Participant has to speak in favor or against the topic for 3 minutes.
Judgment will be made on the basis of their content, communication skills
and body language.
Then audience or judges would be asking question to individuals.
Burning topic would be given for prelims.
For the Finals:-
Participants would be given 3 minutes to speak in the favour or against
the topic.

Paper reading is strictly prohibited.
Only English language is allowed.
Prelims:
1 member per team
A photograph will be shown, participants will have to perceive the image &
speak on it.
1 minute will be given to think and he/she has to speak for 2 minutes.
Judgment will be based on fluency, understanding of topic.
Language Bar: English
Finals:
1 member per team
A series of photographs will be shown linked through slides.
Participant will have to link all the photographs and then speak on it.
1 minute will be given to think and HE/SHE has to speak for 2 minutes.
Judgment will be based on fluency, understanding of topic.

Prelims:
Team of 2 members are allowed for the event. Team once registered would not be changed in any case.
Quiz will include: General, Sports, Democracy, History and Film Industry.
Each team would be given a single sheet of sheet to answer. There would be 10 questions per topic (50 questions= 50 Marks). ¼ mark would be deducted per wrong answer. Top 4 teams will be selected for finals.
Finals:-
Finals will be conducted inside conference hall. Topics will be same as in prelims. Fancy prizes will be awarded for winners.
Prelims:
Team of two members per team is allowed: - Teams once made will be same till final. A video of 1-2 min. will be shown related to social issues, hot topics. Participants have to perceive the video: - It’s hidden message and meaning. They will be given 2 minutes to discuss before their performance: - Each member has to speak once. They will be judged according to their expression, language, understanding of topic and their compatibility with each other. Language Bar: English Language is only allowed.
Finals:
Two members per team is allowed: - Teams once made will be same till final. A video of 1-2 min. will be shown related to social issues, hot topics. Participants have to perceive the video: - It’s hidden message and meaning. They will be given 2 minutes to discuss before their performance: - Each member has to speak once.
o In finals Participants have to perceive video in different respect: One would perceive the video: Discussing its positive aspect Other member would perceive it in negative sense. They would be judged on their presentation of topic, sense of approach and their method. o Language Bar: Only English

Mixed Bag:

Rules:
Teams of 2 members is required to participate in the event. There would be mixed bag event involving word games and light quiz. Participants would be provided a sheet of paper with question printed. They would be given 1 hour to complete the event. Fancy prizes will be allocated for winners.
Participants have to play the character of eminent personality of different field like actor, actress, politician, etc. They will be given points on basis of their presentation, body language, fluency and the depth of knowledge Maximum time given to each participant will be 4 – 5 minutes Audience is requested not to ask a question about the personal issues like D.O.B., about marriage etc.
Creative writing

Participant on the spot will be chosen and will be provided a puzzle and question will be asked on the projector, question will be purely from the literary field. He/She will have to round of the answer of those questions in given time. Winner will be chosen on the basis of maximum number of correct answers.
They should carry their laptops with internet connections to search their contents for duration of 15 minutes only. Each participant would be given topic on the spot. Then they would have to write for next 30 minutes without any sort of source. Judgment would be on the basis on their contents, handwriting and relevance with the topic. The page will be provided only.
Participants will be provided an English pronunciation of any word and its meaning in Hindi/Punjabi also. Those who know the spelling of that word will press the bell. Chance will be given to the priority of ringing the bell. For each correct answer participant will be awarded 10 marks. For each wrong answer participant will be awarded -5 marks.
Participants will have to write a self-made poem on the spot on the on the oldest and pure literary theme. They are free to use any language Punjabi, Hindi, English. Marks will be awarded on the basis of the content, confidence and presentation.

In a team there should be two members. Participants will be given a combination of words on the spot; they have to frame sentences using the given words only. Repetitions of the sentences are not allowed. Participants of the other team can interjection if the current team does any uttering or makes any grammatically mistakes. The team making the maximum and the meaningful interjection will be winner. Participants will be judged on the basis of fluency, language and no. of interjections.
